Hello,
5 years ago, I’ve made a pc2 mod for Vain, especially for this CV :
Even though the mod is 5 years old, the hype came back from the beginning of this year. Thanks for that ! I am thinking about releasing the tutorial since this moment. The reason I didn’t release it yet is the buyer of the first copy (see what i am talking here) was still active until now. I wanted to keep the exclusivity for them.
Now the buyer is not active anymore, I am good with myself releasing the tutorial ! 😎
Specifications speaking :
– Length : 21cm
– Weight : 19-20g
– Weight distribution : I will use a quote from RPD since it is very interesting
Pen list :
- 1 Tombow Playcolor (barrel) : old clear version is less slippery than the regular one
- 2 Pentel RSVP (grips)
- 2 Pentel VFeel BXCB ( 2 back barrels, 1 grip)
- 2 Pilot Juice up (tips)
- 2 Stalogy (backplugs) whatever the version
- 1 old Zebra Sarasa (grip)
- 1 Pilot Airblanc (grip) or Silicone tube 10x8mm
- 1 Anyball/Supergrip/G2 (grip)
- 1 Pentel HGG (grip)
- 1 Uniball GP (grip) : or use the thinnest grip you have.
Let’s get started !
1- Take your VFeel apart and cut the barrel to 3,6cm :
2- Clean the inside of the part :
3- Thanks to a pipe cutter, cut your stalogy backplug to 8,6mm and add some layers of clear tape on the thread part (not shown):
4- Cut the HGG grip to 5,5mm-6mm
5- Cut the GP grip to 1,2cm
6- Assemble steps 3-, 4-, 5- with Juice up tip. If you don’t have GP grip, use the thinnest grip you can get.
As reference, this tip stack weight 3,9g.
Note for hardcore modders : from my measurements, GP grip is 0.75mm thin while G3 is 0.83mm and Needle line is 0.71mm.
7- Put onto the VFeel barrel : half sarasa grip, half vfeel grip with the tip stack inside + 2cm of airblanc grip :
8- 1 piece of 3 stripes of Anyball or Supergrip/G2
9- Cut 1.5cm of the RSVP grip :
10- Put this grip into the VFeel barrel and push the PC2 barrel :
Repeat the steps for the other side and you’re done 👌
Thanks for reading ! If you made one from yourself, I will post it below 😁
