This article is not about a discovery but more about a highlighting of a pen which I think it is interesting to talk about, the Garigarikun pen (jp : ガリガリくんペン) :
As far as I know, Watto popularized it with his >Walmart mod< (he made it before 2018). As the name mentions it, it is/was – originally – available in Japanese Walmart shops. I bought mine from Japan Rakuten some years ago.
The Garigarikun is a scented felt tip pen available in many colors but after cleaning the body, it appears to be totally clear. There are at least 2 versions (old and new). The version 1 got a smooth cap (see Saifon pic) as below while version 2 got a small clip

It seems to belong to Sakamoto, a brand which sell office stuff (>source<). I also found some japanese e-shop which are selling these pens :

The pen is basically the almost perfect sub for the clear Muji KT body :
Muji KT and garigarikun bodies are the same length and thickness : 10.4cm long (including the backplug lip) but the inner and outer part of the backplug of the Gari is longer. The lip of the Gari backplug is thinner too.
Anyway, it is absolutely possible to put a KT/CT backplug into a Gari body.
After cutting the front tip a bit and replaced the Gari backplug to a CT backplug, this is what I got (in comparison, the Muji kt is at the right of the first pic) :
A last but not least comparison :
A Muji KT double capped has the same weight as a Gari double capped.
If you are looking for a cheap clear kt body for your Shadix KT or any other DR.KT, I advise you to get the Gari pen instead of the real Muji KT. You will save a few dozen of dollars. ^^
