Three years ago, Akai and I did a small collaboration. I invented a penmod from his own spinning preference, based on my Vôre-Tèx KT. We decided to call the mod Variegated Amaryllis (shorten to VA). Initials are for Vôre-Tèx and Akai.

Original own by Akai : 22cm, 15g.

There is no tape to hold the parts each other’s. Everything is tight hard to avoid the rattling.

Pen list :

• 1 BT barrel
• 2 CT/KT big caps
• 2 new comssa backplugs
• 2 HGG tips
• 2 Dr.Grip metal rings
• 2 tect orings
• 2 Dr.Grip grips
• 2 Anyball grips
• 2 Sailor Needle Line grips . Extremely hard to find in general. If this is easy for you, you are the lucky one
• 1 G2/Supergrip grip
• 4 thin mech keyboard rings
  

Note : The sailor needle line grip is thinner than G1/G3 grip. This is the connector bewteen the cap and the body. If you can’t find these, use regular tape. However, it seems that according to 50snakes that bic gelocity grip is a good sub for Needle line.

Here is now the tutorial :

1- Prepare both of your caps as the original Vôre-Tèx KT caps.

2- Cut the Supergrip/G2 grip as shown. Keep the 2 pieces of 2 blocks

3- G2 grips and mech keyboard rings above the caps

4- Cut your anyball grips as shown and keep the part at the center

5- Cut the anyball piece of grip into the lengthwise for 2.5cm

6- Cut your Dr.Grip grip from the lip to 3cm.

This is the internal structure of the tip stack. HGG tip into the cut anyball grip followed by the dr.grip ring

7- Add the anyball grip first

8- Then the dr.grip metal ring

9- With a refill, push the inveted HGG tip into the anyball grip

10- Your cap is done 🙂 you can add extra decorative tape on the visible part of the cap as well.

11- For the barrel, remove the lip of your BT

12- Cut the comssa backplugs as shown

13- Cut the sailor grip as shown below and keep the right part

14- Leave the piece of grip above the comssa backplug

15- With water or lubricant, push hard the comssa backplug into the CT cap and put the tect ring

16- Push the latest part into the BT barrel on both side and you are done ╰(*°▽°*)╯

Below is my latest version using metal bra oring instead of tect rings.
